San Francisco

The world of San Francisco is a wild, crazy, beautiful, hilly place. Be prepared to take your walking shoes and dress in layers! I’ve been to San Francisco 3 times and on each visit we always explore something new. I want to share with all of you where we stayed, some of the things we did, and where we ate!

STAYCATION: The last time I was in SF, we stayed at the Loews Regency Hotel. 222 Sansome St, San Francisco, CA 94104. This hotel has some of the best views in SF. I believe its one of the tallest buildings in the city. They just remolded their building so all the rooms are spectacular! The service and hospitality were great! Things we Did: Muir Woods is so fun. You are surrounded by really old redwood sequoia trees! They are so tall and massive. It was beautiful. I felt like I was on a different planet. The drive to Muir woods is about 30 – 40 Minutes. When you arrive you get to decide what trail you would like to take. We chose the 6 mile trail and got lost! haha. We never came out of Muir Woods. Instead, once we were out of the forest, we ended up on Highway 1 without any phone service! We had a little panic attack, but all was good. It was the best adventure I had ever been on!

Union Square: We went shopping in Union Square and splurged on Goyard. If you don’t know the name Goyard then who even are you?! lol JK! It is rare to know what Goyard is, I actually didn’t know about the brand till about 4 years ago when my boyfriend told me about it. Its more expensive than Louis Vuitton and can only be purchased in SF, New York, Tokyo, Paris. I was fortunate enough to get my purse monogrammed with my initials. Monogramming takes about 4 weeks because they actually have to ship the items to Paris just to get it monogrammed, and then they ship your item to you. How crazy?

Packed pretty! Goyard
Final Product, how gorgeous!

16th Avenue Tiled Steps: These steps were pretty hard to find, so beware! The steps are located on 16th Ave behind a really nice neighborhood. It was the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. When you walk to to the very top make sure to turn right and check out the park. The park has amazing 360 views of the city. It was oh so pretty.

What We Ate: It’s pretty safe to say that SF is definitely a foodie place! There are so many good places to eat and so much variety. We had dinner at Ozumo, a really nice sushi place with fun cocktails. For breakfast we waited in the longest line ever just to try Mama’s. This place is known for super long lines in the morning. It’s become a destination in SF. People will wait an hour in the line just to eat at this amazing place! We also tried this famous burrito place in the Mission District called, Taquería El Farolito I believe. The burritos were authentic and better than your average Chipotle burrito.
